DELICATESSEN

We have just crossed the threshold of a restaurant inspired by a New York deli. And since it's a deli, there's pastrami, salami, a variety of juicy sausages and smoked fish. Thick slices of pastrami, glistening with the fragrant maple-smoked fat are piled high between firm slices of sourdough bread. They go great with pickles and spicy mustard. Or how about bagels with salmon or marinated herring? Whatever you try, you'll be back for more of this fun New York menu.

OKTOBERFEST

A collection that will take you back to the days of old beer halls and traditional taverns. The combination of precious wood and metal hinges makes the menu card look like a chest full of treasures. And there is no shortage of gold in this restaurant! The golden beer flows in rivers, for despite the October pestilence, the celebration of Oktoberfest is on. The menu is full of German classics: roast wurst, Knödel dumplings in meat sauce, pork knuckle with sauerkraut, pretzels and crispy potato Rösti. CRIMSON HAZE

It's refreshing and inspiring to reinvent something. Wood - but blood red. Traditional black pudding sausage - but surprisingly modern. On a rainy afternoon, the weather sweeps people from the streets like an autumn broom. In this Indian restaurant, the walls are decorated with hand-painted mandalas. Light oozes an orange-red glow from a multitude of small lanterns, but the furnishings are kept in a simple, modern style. This refreshing combination also accompanies the dishes served by the chef. The vegetable-stuffed Samosa dumplings with mint sauce, the coconut Madras chicken curry, and the cumin-scented Dal Panchmel have just been served on minimalist plates. Flowery curtains and heavy-frame paintings adorn the brick walls, evoking the historical spirit of this place. Once, poets and painters used to come here. Today, the menu dressed in canvas refers to the tradition of bygone bohemia, offering a creamy leek and potato soup, Coq au Vin stew, and almost forgotten Ambrosia dessert. An old vineyard, made of stone and wood, surrounded by eucalyptus bush. In its cellars, bulky barrels sleep deeply, next to each other. On the glass roof of the vineyard - a Michelin star restaurant. We are in Swan Valley, Australia. Although it is a hot December evening outside, the air indoors is pleasantly cool.
