Garam Masala

Sometimes you don't have to embark on a journey to taste the cuisine of distant countries. Sometimes authentic cuisine is heralded by the chic and elegant canvas card in the colour of exotic spices. In this Indian restaurant, the walls are decorated with hand-painted mandalas. Light oozes an orange-red glow from a multitude of small lanterns, but the furnishings are kept in a simple, modern style. This refreshing combination also accompanies the dishes served by the chef. The vegetable-stuffed Samosa dumplings with mint sauce, the coconut Madras chicken curry, and the cumin-scented Dal Panchmel have just been served on minimalist plates. One can hear the sound of chirping crickets. The deep green colour of the table setting has a soothing effect after a busy day. It blends charmingly into the natural surroundings. Cornish Pastry roast and pudding served on porcelain tableware look delicious on this background. Let’s end this evening with a glass of Calvados. Or maybe... let’s begin?

After Dark

An old vineyard, made of stone and wood, surrounded by eucalyptus bush. In its cellars, bulky barrels sleep deeply, next to each other. On the glass roof of the vineyard - a Michelin star restaurant. We are in Swan Valley, Australia. Although it is a hot December evening outside, the air indoors is pleasantly cool. The lights are dimmed, and the menu cards are waiting on the tables for their guests. Ecological leather with an elegant texture emphasizes the uniqueness of this moment. Cheers!
