Birch plywood
The wood-labelled products we offer are made from birch plywood. The application of modern laser technology to one of the most traditional materials allows us to achieve a simple and sophisticated design, and the engraved logo in a light brown shade gives the products a unique 'look'.
How to care for Birch plywood?
The plywood from which the accessories are created is already impregnated by us, but after a long period of use it is worth reinforcing this protection with a clear wood varnish. Please note that these may slightly affect the shade of the wood so we recommend that you set aside any accessory for testing. Preparations should be applied strictly according to the instructions included in the packaging and taking into account the conditions in which the plywood accessories will be used. We recommend storing plywood products in a dry, dark place, but with air circulation. If possible, store horizontally.
How to clean Birch plywood?
Important information
Remember that any attempt to use wood cleaning products should be preceded by a careful reading of the manufacturer's recommendations and a test of its effect on an unseen section of the plywood. Avoid flooding and drying with radiators and other strong heat sources.
For ad hoc cleaning, a damp (not wet) cloth or sponge is sufficient, followed by thorough drying with a towel. Greasy, hard-to-remove stains can be cured with ammonia water - please note that the wood may turn slightly pale after this treatment. Before using a strong ammonia-water solution, it is worth checking whether you can clean the stain with washing-up liquid.
