Primavera Leather
Primavera is a 'living' Pull-Up leather. It is soaked in oil, which causes it to change its appearance with use, brightening in the bends and easily taking on scratches, creating a natural 'vintage look'. However, this feature allows it to be restored to its original appearance.
How to care for Primavera Leather?
Primavera is a pull-up leather, which makes it distinctive in appearance, durable and will last for years. Due to its characteristics, it is required to use only preparations intended for the care of this type of leather, which are based on beeswax - any homemade patents may disturb the oily structure of the material, thus destroying it.
. A beeswax-based conditioner, cream or paste is recommended for care. We recommend testing any remedy on a small section of the material before use.
. Mild scratches and superficial signs of use can be polished with a dry cloth. Deeper ones may require the use of pastes or beeswax-based creams, which also act as a protectant. We recommend paying particular attention to areas subject to intensive use such as folds - these will naturally change colour, which is determined by the nature of pull-up leather. If Primavera leather accessories are used in close proximity to intense odours, we suggest using neutralisers for leather products.
. Due to the nature of Primavera leather, we recommend using Primavera leather accessories in closed spaces. The ideal places for storage are darkened shelves and cabinets.
How to clean Primavera Leather?
Important information
The rules described do not apply to applied logos, which are much more susceptible to dissolving and washing off, in the case of decorations such as hot stamping with coloured foil or printing. Such areas should not be cleaned, but only wiped very gently with a cotton cloth and clean water.
For fine, everyday cleaning, a dry, soft cotton cloth is sufficient. Otherwise, use distilled water-based products containing anionic surfactants and natural oils and waxes, which have impregnating properties. Commercially available formulations come in liquid, aerosol and foam form - the formulation you choose depends on your preferences and the problematic nature of the stain. Before general use, test the chosen cleaner on an invisible part of the material.
. The cleaning process should be completed with the application of a beeswax-based care product.
